This weekend, the weather will be characterized by stable, hot, and sunny conditions over most of the country. However, our simulations indicate the possibility of rain, especially in the mountains of Northern Italy.
Let’s analyze in detail what to expect.
Saturday’s Weather
Saturday, rain will be widespread over the alpine arc of the North-West, where thunderstorms are also possible, especially in the afternoon.
These phenomena will extend in the evening to Trentino-Alto Adige.
In the rest of the country, the weather will be stable with only some veils or harmless clouds.
Winds will be weak and generally from the southern quadrants.
Sunday’s Weather
Sunday, we will still have locally stormy phenomena in Northern Italy, more widespread in the mountains, but they will also reach the plains of Piedmont and Lombardy.
Rain will also be present in Liguria in the morning.
In Upper Tuscany, rain is possible in the afternoon, caused by heating, and isolated thunderstorms may form in the central Apennine areas and northern Sardinia.
Winds will strengthen from the south, especially over the central Tyrrhenian, making the sea locally very rough.
Weekend Temperatures
Temperatures will generally rise in Central Italy and Southern Italy, more markedly on the Main Islands and the Adriatic coast.
High maximum values are expected, contributing to a hot and sunny weekend over most of the country. Therefore, this weekend will be characterized by a certain weather variability between Northern Italy, where there will be rain and thunderstorms, and Central Italy and Southern Italy, where good weather and high temperatures will dominate.
