The North is very involved
The regions of Northern Italy will be the first to feel the arrival of the disturbance, with showers and thunderstorms gradually moving towards the Center and the South.
Temperatures will drop sharply, bringing them to cooler values in line with seasonal averages. This temperature drop will be particularly felt in the inland and mountainous areas, where the thermal decrease will be more marked.
The Islands: still hot, but its hours are numbered
Meanwhile, Sicily and Sardinia will continue to experience high temperatures until the arrival of the disturbance.
Here, the heat will still be felt for a few more days, but even in these areas, a significant change is expected starting from the second week of September.
Cool at night
With the approach of Autumn, a progressive drop in nighttime temperatures can be expected, with values starting to fall below 20 degrees in many locations, especially in mountainous areas and inland valleys.
During the day, maximum temperatures will tend to remain at more moderate levels, rarely exceeding 25-27 degrees in the regions most exposed to the sun.
End of the heat, this time it’s sudden
The weather conditions in the coming weeks will therefore be characterized by a milder and more variable climate, typical of the upcoming autumn season.
It is time to prepare for a wardrobe change, with the arrival of cooler temperatures and shorter days.
The transition from hot summer days to cool autumn evenings will be gradual but evident.
