Yes, because on the horizon we can see the first evident signs of decline.
But let’s go in order: We said that Friday 30th August, Saturday 31st and Sunday 1st September, will be days marked by great heat.
The African anticyclone, after the uncertainties of recent days, returns in great shape ready to provide greater stability and especially temperatures well above average.
The possible turning point
Our attention then focuses on what will happen during the next week when a cold air vortex descending from Northern Europe will gradually begin to approach our country, however targeting the Iberian Peninsula.
Without going into too much detail, already between Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th September the pressure will start to drop in the North and partly also in the Center with the arrival of some rain and thunderstorms, all accompanied by a moderate drop in temperatures.
Subsequently, the pressure will try to increase again, but by the end of the week a more intense cyclonic vortex will head directly towards our country where the weather is destined to undergo a significant deterioration, first in the Center and North and later also in the South.
In short, if everything is confirmed, by Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th September, the whole country will be enveloped by a cold cyclonic circulation with widespread bad weather and a sharp drop in temperatures.
However, we want to clarify that we are still in the realm of hypotheses.
It will take a few more days before we can definitively resolve the prognosis on what could be the first serious crisis of the summer.
